Overview
This desert safari without dune bashing is built around the camp evening. You are picked up, taken to the desert campsite, and spend the rest of the night there: a welcome with Arabic tea, coffee, sweets and fresh fruit, a short camel ride, henna, photos in traditional Arabian clothing, dinner and live shows.
Dune bashing is the fast, bumpy off-road drive that most standard safaris include. It is not part of this package. If you would rather skip that drive but still want the camp, the food and the entertainment, this is the tour for you.
Drinks are unlimited during the evening: water, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Dinner is an international buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian BBQ options. Shisha is included in the designated area.

The evening is easy to follow. The main activities happen at one campsite, so there is no need to plan around an intense driving session.

Your driver takes you directly to the desert campsite via paved roads and flat desert paths. You travel comfortably in an air-conditioned vehicle without any rough off-road driving or steep dune climbing.
Will I miss out on sunset photos if we don't go onto the high dunes?
Not at all. The campsite area offers open views of the surrounding desert dunes, allowing you to take sunset photos and enjoy the desert landscape without needing an off-road drive.
Is the camel ride optional or mandatory?
It is completely optional. You can enjoy a short camel ride at your own pace, or skip it entirely and relax at the camp with Arabic tea, coffee, and traditional snacks.
What kind of entertainment is included?
Belly dancing (paused during Ramadan), a tanoura dance performance, and a fire show.
Do I need to bring anything?
A camera for sunset photos, sunglasses, sunscreen, and cash or a card for optional extras.
What if I don’t want to participate in certain activities?
